Chegaram-me na 2ª feira deliciosos bolos dos Açores. Este é um dos muitos que vieram, chamam-se Bolos Lêvedos das Furnas e pode encontrar-se aqui uma maior explicação sobre eles.

De qualquer forma, a melhor explicação é o seu sabor, que é viciante... Já decidi que os meus pequenos-almoços e lanches vão ter de voltar às torradas com manteiga e chocolate quente, porque por este andar daqui a pouco já não sobra nenhum, e eu quero prolongar este sabor por mais tempo.

I received on Monday delicious cakes from Azores. This is one of many that came, they are called Bolos Lêvedos das Furnas and you can find here a little bit more explanation about them.

Anyway, the best explanation is the taste... I've already decided that my breakfasts and snacks are going to turn to toasts with butter and hot chocolate, because shortly none is already left, and I want to extend this taste as long as I can.

Demorou mais tempo do que eu gostaria, mas aqui estão, eles e elas, feitos com muito amor e dedicação.
É uma alegria vê-los, quando há um tempo que me parece o de ontem eram apenas ilustrações, hoje passam a ser palpáveis, brincáveis. Ganham vida, respiram pela primeira vez, prontos a mostrarem-se ao mundo. E eu, tal como uma Mãe assiste aos primeiros passos dos filhos, olho para eles enternecida. Estão na loja.
Dentro em breve surgirão mais.

It had take more time than I expected, but here they are, handmade with a lot of love and dedication.
It's a joy to see them, when in a time that seems yesterday they were just an illustration work, today they're here to touch and to play with. They gain life, breathe for the first time, ready to show themselves to the world. And I, such as a Mother assists the first steps of her children, I look at them touched. They're at the shop.
